SWEDEN: Krinova RES-Chains exhibition

The project RES-Chains established an information center in Southern Sweden at the Krinova Incubator & Science Park around Biogas in 2012. The exhibition was developed from the existing environment exhibition Supervision, which opened in November 2008.

  • The exhibition is a given starting point for visitors to the local businesses and the local authority, and of course for an interested public.
  • The exhibition aims to raise awareness about biogas and to further establish Krinova as a place for dialogue, meetings and workshops on environmental issues.

On Krinova Day March 29, 2012 the exhibition was inaugurated by the Polish Ambassador in Sweden Adam Halacinski. The exhibition has since its inauguration held a number of foreign visitors including from the U.S., Botswana, Vietnam and Poland.

DENMARK: Sydfalster Energypark

The RES-Chains partner Guldborgsund Municipality has established this Information Centre and Information Point next to a 12.000 msolar panel field constructed by the owners of a district heating plant. It will consist of an indoor and an outdoor area. Outside next to the solar panel field you will find a shelter, tables and benches and a permanent poster exhibition focusing on solar energy. Inside in a pavilion there are 2 rooms with tables, chairs, posters, computers and additional equipment.

The main target groups are school classes, kindergartens, families on picnic (local citizens) and tourists.

The now opened outdoor area includes:

  • Picnic house and picnic area
  • Posters on solar energy + QR codes for more information
  • Treasure hunting for children around at the area
  • App with quiz for grown-ups around at the area
  • Geo-catching and info on out-door games
